I've been involved in an accident, what should i do?
If your vehicle requires towing please call our 24hr towing service on 0407 597 079. If your vehicle is drivable please pop in at a time convenient for you. We can assist you with lodging your claim with your insurance provider and getting the repair process under way with the least amount of inconvenience to you.
do i have the right to choose my repairer?
The majority of insurance providers allow you to choose your preferred repairer. We do, however, recommend to regularly check your policy to ensure there are no changes to this.
Whilst, at times, it may seem convenient to leave it up to your insurance provider to organise repairs to your vehicle this can sometimes jeopardise the standard of repairs. To ensure your vehicle is always repaired to the highest factory standard and with genuine parts be sure to tell your insurance provider that H Harvey Prestige is your preferred repairer when making your claim.
what vehicle manufacturers are you accredited with?
We are an authorised Mercedes-Benz Autobody Repairer, approved Lexus Body and Paint Repairer and a Subaru Preferred Collision Repairer. We do however repair all vehicles.
are you a recommended repairer for my insurance provider?
We carry out work for all major insurance providers and are recommended repairers for the following; IAG (NRMA, CGU, WFI, Swann, Lumley), QBE, RACQ, Real and AAMC.
can i obtain a quote for repairs over the phone?
Unfortunately we do need to see your vehicle in person so we can view the full extent of the damages.
do i need to make an appointment to receive a quote on my vehicle?
An appointment for a quotation is not necessary. Pop in at a time convenient for you. We have an estimator on site Monday-Friday between 7:30am and 4:30pm who can provide you with a quote while you wait.
what should i bring with me when i come in for a quote?
If you intend to claim the accident through insurance please bring your insurance details and claim number with you.
do you offer mobile estimating?
Yes. When accidents happen we understand that finding the time to obtain a quote can be difficult. Please phone our office on 07 5580 5900 to arrange for one of our estimators to visit your home or business address for an onsite estimate.
what happens after i have received a quote?
If you intend to go through insurance we send the quotation off to your insurance company on your behalf, who then assess your vehicle. Once we have authority to commence repairs we will contact you to book your vehicle in for repairs at a time that suits you.
how long will repairs to my vehicle take?
Each and every job is different. When you bring your vehicle in for a quotation our Estimator will provide essential information to you such as when we are able to commence your repairs and approximately how long the repair process will take.
We will endeavor to complete the repair within the shortest possible time and estimated timeframe, however quality will not be comprised. If there are any unforeseen delays you will be notified immediately.
do you guarantee the repairs to my vehicle?
All repairs carried out by H Harvey Prestige are fully guaranteed for as long as you own the vehicle.
will my vehicle be secure while at your complex?
Our facility is undercover, fully-gated, with back-to-base alarm monitoring. Not to mention the live 24 hour CCTV. When your vehicle is with us, it’s in safe hands.
do you have loan vehicles available?
Yes we have a fleet of Mercedes-Benz loan vehicles available by appointment, at a charge of $49.50 per day. At times these vehicles can be heavily booked in advance. If you choose not to wait until the next vehicle becomes available we can refer you to our affiliated rental car company.
who do i pay my insurance excess to?
In most cases excess payments are collected by the repairer on behalf of your insurance company.
what payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards – Visa, Mastercard and American Express (1.5% surcharge). We also accept payments via EFTPOS, cash and direct deposit (this need to be cleared prior to collection of your vehicle). Unfortunately we do not accept cheques.
do you offer complimentary pick up and delivery?
We understand that sometimes it can be a bit tricky organising to drop off/collect your vehicle. Please phone us on 07 5580 5900 to discuss local pick up/delivery options.
are you open on saturdays?
Yes, we are open from 7:30am – 10:30am on Saturdays
what are you doing to help minimise an environmental footprint?
We are extremely mindful of our environmental footprint. We continually review our practices to ensure this is small. We recycle all scrap aluminium, steel, rubber, glass and paper products. Not to mention our facility is equipped with a 50,000-litre water tank. Not only do we collect and use our own water, we recycle any water used in the cleaning process of all vehicles. In our efforts to be more self-sufficient our facility is also powered by solar energy.
